Since business schools strive for diversity in the classroom with respect to one's identity (nationality, gender, etc.) but also with respect to industry (current & future), personality, leadership style & more. Your essays have the tough job of simultaneously showing each school's AdCom how you both stand out and fit it to their respective communities - such a fine line to ride, where you can really benefit from the expertice and precision of an experienced coach. • If video essays are part of your application, we will prepare for & practice these until you're feeling cool & confident, but not rehearsed! THE PROCESS (Spot-Check Essay Polishing): 1. Email me your essay for the intital read. I'll make notes. 2. During our call, I'll have questions and comments, and perhaps some suggted edits. 3. Final proofread & spell/grammar check. THE PROCESS (Strategic Essay Support): 1. Storytelling Interview to get to know you. 2. Initial brainstorming and outline of topics to show your authentic self. 3. Revisions & reworking. 4. Final proofread & spell/grammar check. YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH: • Polished essay(s) that tells your unique story that you'll be confident to submit for your application, customized to your profile & target school. • Confidence in your ability to respond to any video essay question they throw at you. TIMING: Sessions run for 90 minutes. In my experience, an hour goes by too quickly! My sessions are designed to ensure you will finish the call feeling accomplished & confident. COST: •For an essay spot-check and quick polish to put you at ease, 1 session will usually suffice. •For full-service strategic essay support, plan on 3 - 10 sessions per school, depennding on the number of essays and other factors.
